Coupled Seepage Mechanics Model of Coal Containing Methane Based on Pore Structure Fractal Features

The paper applies fractal theory to the structure of coal pores and calculates dimension integrated for each pore section >100 nm, 100 nm > d 5.25 <2 nm. In experiment, we performed full stress–strain-seepage experiment methane-bearing coal, revealed deformation–seepage characteristics under load, deduced dynamic prediction mechanical model permeability based on heterogeneity, followed by practical verification. results show that change in is an external manifestation deformation, two are closely related affected changes effective stress coefficient. derived fractal-deformation-coupled methane mechanics heterogeneity has high accuracy, a general expression stress–strain-permeability given, Langmuir verified be highly accurate (>0.9) can used reservoir prediction.
